Lamination

The raw material used in the manufacture of laminated safety glass is float glass, which is flat glass made from sand, soda ash, dolomite, lime and recycled glass.

Glass lamination is a method in which sheets of glass and a PVB film placed between them are bonded together. The resulting product is quality safety glass capable of withstanding high levels of mechanical stress and offering good fire resistance and optical properties.

AGP Glassco safety glass is made to meet international safety standards and also to be as safe as possible if it should break. Laminated glass remains attached to the plastic film when it breaks.

AGP Glassco Safety Glass Ltd laminates both flat and bent glass.
